Press Release:
Pasadero, Inc. Announces Launch of its Research Institution Collaboration Program

TEMPE, Arizona, Aug. 22, 2005 – Pasadero, Inc. today announced that it is launching a program to work with individuals and groups in institutional research settings to introduce them to the power and cost-savings of ProtoGenie™, its toolkit for researchers, and to work together to customize ProtoGenie to the specific needs of research communities.

ProtoGenie is an online research design software development toolkit for non-programmer researchers and professionals. It is designed to support all disciplines and all areas of business and government. ProtoGenie enables research design and data collection through the construction of online research protocols designed to guide and automate data collection and the research process. ProtoGenie's friendly interface is grounded in the logic of scientific method and the familiar look and feel of the traditional user interface and Internet tools. Together, these features enable programmers and non-programmers alike to build powerful, configurable, and recyclable research support applications for virtually nothing.

The makers of PG are looking for potential institutional and research community applications of the ProtoGenie to customize the software and add new features to meet the needs of selected research communities. The makers of ProtoGenie will work closely with select individuals and groups from these institutions to help make that happen.

Access and start up support in selected development settings is currently free. Depending on the size of the effort, extended and long-term development and technical support will require additional funding. Access to ProtoGenie source code for independent third-party development is available under certain prescribed circumstances.

If you are interested in working with ProtoGenie developers to bolster your institutions or research group’s research efforts, contact Lawrence Boyd.
