Make Treatment Event (continued)

Scroll down to the Instrument Construction Area where you will see two text fields. The first field contains the instruction, "Replace this text with instructions to the experimenter or subject about what they should do next ." In this field, type "START VIDEO."

Text that you type into the second text box is displayed during the treatment (during the video presentation). The comment box allows experimenters (or subjects) to comment while the trial is in progress. In this text box, type "Describe any unusual occurrence during the running of the video."

To check that the treatment event is doing what we want it to do, click on Preview Event in the top menu of the Instrument Construction Area. Try the Execute option too. In this case, the Results Page should have results for three events, the welcome page, the pretest measurement event (Guilt or Innocence) and the treatment event (Animation Treatment). On the Results Page, click on Edit Protocol in the top menu to return to the composer where you are working.
