Make Treatment Group
The first building task is to make the Treatment Group in the pretest/posttest control group design. Since the Blank Protocol starts with one Undefined Startup Group, we can simply define that group to make it the Treatment Group. To do so, click on the Make and Edit Groups tab of the Edit Protocol Page. Select "Unspecified Startup Group" under Group Label in the Make and Edit Groups window and change it to "Treatment Group."
Immediately to the right of the Group Label, in the column labeled Keywords, enter "treatment group, computer animation group." In the field labeled Group Description, enter "Subjects in this group are presented a treatment with measurements taken before and after the treatment." Ignore the column labeled Homogeneous. Set group Size at 30.
Our strategy for creating all of the groups and events in this design will be to specify the events in this group and then duplicate the entire group including its events and make changes to fit the requirements of the Control Group.
