Edit Protocol Page

The Edit Protocol Page contains three tabs beginning on the left with the tab called Make & Edit Groups. The second tab is Make & Edit Events and the third tab is Sequencing.  Groups and events are made under the first two tabs and sequenced under the third tab.

You should be looking under the Make & Edit Groups tab.  Since there will always be at least one group in an experiment, the blank protocol defaults to one "Unspecified Startup Group," which appears in the first row of the Make & Edit Groups Table.   Subsequently, we will define this group to make it the Treatment Group.

Now look under the Make & Edit Events tab.  Note that there is one "Unspecified Startup Event" in the Event Specification Table because a blank protocol automatically starts with one event."  Subsequently, we will define this event to be a welcome page.

Now, look under the Sequencing tab. On the right side of the screen is a window called Execution List.  Because the Blank protocol starts with one group, it will appear in the Execution List Window.

To the left of the Execution List Window is a window called Event Names Window. This window will contain all of the events you made for this protocol.  It currently contains the event automatically created by our Blank Protocol.  These events are sequenced in the treatment group in the Execution List by entering the names of the events from the Event Names Window.  This is done by selecting a group in the Execution List Window, clicking on an event in the Event Names Window and then clicking on the right arrow labeled "Enter Event Name."
