To make the intensity question (I2) to follow up on the question involving tax cuts,  click on the Create menu at the top left of the Event Specification Table.  Select "Measurement" and then "Sliderbar."

Now there should be six events (rows) in the Event Specification Table.   In the first column, there should be an "M" in a circle indicating that this event is a Measurement.  To its right and under Event Type it should say "Sliderbar."  Next, under Event Label, it should say "New Sliderbar Measurement."  Change this to "Intensity of Position Tax Cuts."

In the column labeled Event Description, enter "This is a measurement of the intensity of the subject's position on tax cuts given party cues."

Scroll down to the Instrument Construction Area with the heading "Intensity of Position Tax Cuts." In the box labeled "Number of labels to show along with the sliderbar," enter "5."  In the space for a question or statement, enter "How strongly do you feel about your position on tax cuts?"  In the fields for the five labels by the check boxes, enter from the top down "Strongly Support," Support," Neutral," "Oppose," and "Strongly Oppose."
