Make Treatment Event

To make a "Treatment Event" (T) for the Treatment Group, click on Create at the top left of the Event Specification Table under the Sequencing Tab. Select "Treatment" and then "Administered on Video," as the type of treatment.
There should be two events (rows) in the Event Specification Table. In the first column for this new row, there should be an "T" in a circle indicating that this event is a Treatment event.. To its right and under Event Type it should say "Administered on Video." Next, under Event Label, it should say "New Treatment Event." Change this to "Treatment Event" and this will be your event label or name.
In the column labeled Variable, enter "TreatmentCues" (all one word). In the column labeled Keywords, enter "political party cues, tax cut issues." In the column labeled Event Description, enter "This treatment tests the effects of political cues on opinions about tax cuts"
Scroll down to the Instrument Construction Area. On the top left, you will see the event name "Treatment Event." In the text field below the name, enter: "The following questions ask you about your opinion about a national issue. Please select the responses that best fit your opinions. Click Right Arrow to Continue."
Note: This screen is just a formality because the treatment is not presented on this screen but is embedded in the subsequent measurement events.
