Make Treatment Group

The first building task is to make the Treatment Group for the design above.  Since the Blank Protocol starts with one Undefined Startup Group, we can simply define that group to make it the Treatment Group.  To do so, click on the Make and Edit Groups tab of the Edit Protocol Page.  Select "Unspecified Startup Group" under Group Label in the Make and Edit Groups window and change it to "Treatment Group."   Immediately to the right in the column labeled Keywords, enter "Party brands cues, belief constraints."

In the field labeled Group Description, enter "This group will be made up of individuals self-selected in the online experiment and randomly assigned to the group.  Subjects in this group will receive the political party labels as cues to their positions.  For example, it will say, 'The Democratic Party wants..' and so forth.  All responses will be anonymous." 

Ignore the column labeled Homogeneous.  Set group Size at 100.
