Make Question 2

To make the second question,  click on the "Add" menu at the top left of the Event Specification Table.  Select "Measurement" and then "Sliderbar."  

Now there should be a fourth event (fourth row) in the Event Specification Table.   In the first column, there should be an "M" in a circle indicating that this event is a Measurement.  To its right and under "Event Type" it should say "Sliderbar."  Next, under "Event Label," it should say "New Sliderbar Measurement."  Change this to "Intensity of Position.
  
In the column labeled "Variable," enter "ÍntensityPosition" (all one word).  In the column labeled Keywords, enter the words "tax cuts, position intensity."  In the column labeled "Event Description," enter "This is a measurement of the intensity of the subject's position on the tax cuts."  

Scroll down to the Instrument Construction Area under the heading "Intensity of Position."  In the question box enter "How strongly do you feel about making these tax cuts permanent?"  In the fields for the five labels, enter from the top down "Strongly Support," Support," Neutral," "Oppose," and "Strongly Oppose."
