Make Question 1

To make question 1, which is our first "Measurement Event," click on the "Add" menu at the top left of the Event Specification Table.  Select "Measurement" and then "Multiple Choice."  

Now there should be a third event (third row) in the Event Specification Table.   In the first column for this row, there should be an "M" in a circle indicating that this event is a Measurement.  To its right and under "Event Type" it should say "Multiple Choice."  Next, under "Event Label," should say "New Multiple Choice Measurement."  Change this to "Position on Tax Cut" and this will be your event label or name.
  
In the column labeled "Variable," enter "PositionTaxCuts" (all one word).  In the column labeled Keywords, enter the words "tax cuts, survey, citizen initiated poll."  

In the column labeled "Event Description," enter "This is a measurement of the subject's position on the tax cuts."
