What is ProtoGenie?
ProtoGenie™ is a web based authoring toolkit for the design and execution of online research experiments. This suite of research design and execution tools allows users to create experiments covering many types of research design including mixed methods research design. With ProtoGenie software you can build psychology experiments, qualitative & quantitative experiments, and more.
The ProtoGenie experimental design toolkit can create web experiments for:
- Controlled Experiments
- Natural Experiments
- Field Experiments
How Does ProtoGenie Work?
ProtoGenie creates custom online “programs” or “scripts” called ProtoGenie Protocols that define and guide study management and data collection events in science experiments, clinical trials, surveys, and other kinds of studies. See details on ProtoGenie as data collection software.
ProtoGenie facilitates the use of computers in Psychology and other experimental sciences. ProtoGenie is currently used in the Research Design and Analysis course curriculum at Sacred Heart University to create Psychology experiments and support instruction as software. Read the testimonial
